Living Designs Group provided a two phase expansion of the exisiting Taos Charter School campus consisting of a 1,000gsf passive solar greenhouse addition (phase 1) and a breezeway to enclose the connection fo two exisiting campus wings (phase 2). Both phases are sensitive to the exisitng pueblo style.  The greenhouse will heat and cool itself by passive means.  As an architectural and educational componet, a catch-water system demonstrates the role that water plays in our daily lives.  Students, faculty and staff enjoy the greenhouse as a venue for expiriments with growing food and nurturing a variety of plant materials.
