Sponsored through a partnership between the Town of Taos and Taos Municipal Schools, LDG's involvement on the Eco-Park began in early 2009 with the creation of a phased master plan for the 7-acre site. At a 7,000ft elevation and 300+ sunny days a year, the project offered a perfect training climate, world class facilities and sustainable strategies in Taos, New Mexico. Funding wasn't far off with this pitch and Phase 1 went to a fast-track design process less than a year later. Currently, the first FIFA-regulation turf field, grandstands, stadium lighting, parking, restroom facilities and landscaping are under construction and will be ready for play in the fall of 2010.
