At LDG Inc. we specialize in sustainable architecture for the Southwest. We are a LEED-accredited firm, incorporating conventional and alternative design solutions to projects at a variety of scales, each unique in its scope. Our firm is widely recognized for sustainable resort-hotel architecture and planning such as El Monte Sagrado and Angel Fire Resort. Additionally, our portfolio includes educational, residential, multi-family and commercial developments. We proudly announce these projects currently underway at our firm:

Salazar Eco-Park | Taos, NM | The Town of Taos, in conjunction with the Taos Sports Alliance serves to develop Taos as a year-round, high-altitude sports destination.  LDG initially participated in this endeavor by  volunteering site master planning services for the development of new athletic parks.  These efforts rendered LDG, Inc. with two master planning contracts: the TMS Athletic Fields Master Plan and the Salazar Eco-Park Master Plan.

Taos Municipal Schools | Greater Taos, NM | LDG, Inc. is currently under contract for additions, renovations and site work at five schools in the district: Enos Garcia Elementary, Ranchos Elementary, Arroyos del Norte Elementary, Taos Middle School, and the Taos High School Athletic Facilites. This funding for these much needed improvements is provided by the 2008 Taos Municipal School Bond.

Angel Fire Country Club | Angel Fire, NM | Consturction is underway at the new 27,200sf facility in Angel Fire.  View construction progress photos at the project website http://www.angelfireresort.com/winter/wh-country-club.php.  Expected completion May 2010.

Angel Fire Ski Base Area | Angel Fire, NM | The resort has begun the schematic design process for a new ski base area, with the goal to refresh and revive the ski area of Angel Fire. The evolving base area design replaces many mismatched, monotone buildings with 3 distinctive modern buildings that house everything from ski rental to coffee shop and first aide. The public plaza design allows for additional exterior gathering space, including a new skating rink, and focused views towards the ski runs at the beautiful Cieneguilla Mountain.

Blackstone Bathhouse | Taos, NM | The bathhouse is a renovation to a historic dairy barn located on a private residence in Taos. The distinctiveness of the old cow milking station inspired the interesting shape of the spa pool.

THS Athletic Field | Taos, NM | After completing a comprehensive Athletic Facilities Master Plan for the entire Taos Municipal School district, LDG won the contract to design the Taos High School Football Field. The project comprises a new turf field, stadium lighting, expanded seating, and restroom facilities as part of a broader plan for the entire THS athletic park, which also includes a new baseball diamond, running track, and grandstand/concession facilities. LDG is working hard to ensure that THS can break in their new field this fall for Homecoming 2009.

Las Trampas Community Center | Las Trampas, NM | Originally settled as a Spanish-colonial fortification in 1715, the rural village of Las Trampas is listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places and contains a National Historic Landmark, the San Jose de Gracia Church. LDG, Inc. is honored to offer design and planning services for the new 3,000 sf community center in Las Trampas, to be sensitively detailed in the indigenous Territorial style.

Raton Flagship Hotel | Raton, NM | To help the hotel achieve its flagship status with a well-known international brand hotel, LDG, Inc. is designing for new construction and refurbishment of the 2-story, 60,000 sf hotel complex.
